The Approach

I speak to the moments that define leadership, not the moments that feel good to describe.

I speak to leadership teams, board retreats, and executive conferences on topics I've lived through, not concepts I've read about. The through-line is always the same: what actually happens inside organizations when the pressure is on, and what separates the leaders who rise to those moments from the ones who don't.

Every talk is grounded in real experience, shaped for the specific audience, and built to leave people with something they can use, not just something that sounds compelling on stage.

Signature Talks

Three talks. Each built from the ground up.

01

When the Room Goes Quiet

The leadership moments that define careers, and how to be ready for them when they arrive. Based on the book, this talk unpacks what actually happens in the silence after a hard question, a customer hesitation, or a board challenge, and how the best leaders have learned to own it.

Audiences leave with a framework for reading the room, controlling the silence, and leading with authority when the pressure is highest.

02

Strategy That Actually Executes

Most organizations don't fail at strategy. They fail at the gap between strategy and execution: the invisible layer where plans lose their shape and effort replaces direction. This talk diagnoses the gap and provides the operating disciplines that actually close it.

Built for leadership teams that are tired of great strategies that never quite materialize into results.

When AI Makes Competence Cheap, Judgment Becomes the Job

AI is equalizing technical skill at a speed no one was prepared for. The question for every executive is: when competence becomes a commodity, what is your actual value? This talk reframes the AI conversation away from tools and toward the judgment, leadership, and decision-making capacity that AI cannot replicate.

A talk for leadership teams navigating AI adoption who want a strategic lens, not a technology briefing.

The Board-CEO Relationship: What Both Sides Get Wrong

The most consequential relationship in any company is the one between the board and the CEO, and it's consistently misunderstood by both sides. This talk is built from the inside of that relationship, offering a candid look at what boards need from CEOs, what CEOs need from boards, and how to build the dynamic that unlocks both.

About the Speaker

Why executives invite me back.

I'm not a professional speaker who happens to have business experience. I'm a practitioner who speaks, and the difference is audible. Every talk is grounded in what I've actually done, seen, and been accountable for at the senior level.

I've led organizations through transformation, sat on boards during their most pressured moments, and written extensively on strategy, leadership, and the future of AI. That material doesn't come from research. It comes from the room.
